About Us
We are Mooloolah River Waterwatch and Landcare inc. (MRWL) a non profit landcare group with roots firmly established in Mooloolah and the wider Sunshine Coast community.
Our 'mother ship' - MRWL, has three main operating entities:
Seventeen years ago a small group of committed individuals planted the seeds of MRWL in a private backyard at Smith St, Glenview. The soil was fertile and we have been growing ever since.
We collaborated with Ready Mix Cement (now HOLCIM) in the early 2000's and the present native plant nursery site was established on the Steve Irwin Way.
We have a team of active volunteers and use local knowledge, established methods and the latest science to guide our projects and actions.
