MRWL would like to thank the Sunshine Coast Council for funding the training of our Treasurer, Book Keeper and President with an Online course in Finance Essentials Training specific to Not For Profit organisations.
Our training went well with 3 participants attending online training via Zoom. All of the participants gained new knowledge and insights into the managing of a Not For Profit organisations financials. As a result MRWL has made some changes to its reporting and approach to budgets. Whilst some of the courses components were familiar it was a challenge to comprehend all aspects but by asking questions understanding was achieved.
